National Regent and National Regent-Elect on EWTN at March for Life
Be sure to watch the interview of National Regent Helene Shepard and National Regent-Elect Olga Samaniego on the morning of the March for Life, Friday, January 27. You can see it on your television if you receive EWTN or on your computer via the EWTN Live website:
Broadcasting will begin at 9:00AM, but we do not know when Helene and Olga will be interviewed. It could be right away, or later in the broadcast.
Tune in also for the EWTN broadcast of the annual National Prayer Vigil for Life at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception on the eve of the March for Life, Thursday, January 26. The magnificent procession of cardinals, bishops, priests and deacons will begin at 5:30PM. You can look for the National Board and other Catholic Daughters in the front rows.
Father Matthew’s Sunday Reflection
I want to take a break from our regular scripture reflections to speak a bit about one part of what it means to be a parish: the parish as a place of joy. Our local parishes are celebrating their annual festivals this month and next, which I thoroughly enjoy. I love seeing people take a break from their routines to celebrate being a family in Christ.
